Aruban florin and the euro
All prices on jobcareworks.com are in Euro, unless otherwise mentioned. This way, your rate will be fixed and it lowers the transaction costs since JobCare has a Dutch bank account. The Aruban florin is connected to the American dollar. The exchange rate fluctuates regularly and the current exchange rates are published in the financial sections of your newspaper, or the website of your bank.
Explanation packages
The registration with JobCare is free of charge. You may have noticed on the registration form that, apart from this, you yourself may compose a package from a number of different services.
Currently the registration form is unavailable and therefore we ask you to send us an email with your resumé and a short motivation about the internship of your liking to:

The Packages JobCare offers are the following:
Package A: Internship mediation, Internship permit application and Introduction at the trainee post. Euro 425,-
JobCare will look for a suitable trainee post for you. With the help of our extended database we will match a company with the resumé you have sent us. After both you and the company have agreed, JobCare will make a contract which you and the company will sign. After that, JobCare will ask you to mail the documents needed for the internship permit application. When you arrive in Aruba, JobCare will join you on your first work day to introduce you at your trainee spot.
Important: when working as an intern in Aruba you need an intership permit!
Arranging a permit for a traineeship
When you come from abroad to start a traineeship in Aruba, you need a permit for your traineeship. JobCare can arrange this permit for you. If you wish to arrange it yourself, bear in mind that it takes 3 days on average before you have visited the necessary departments to pick up the right forms. If JobCare does this for you, it saves you a lot of time. If you want us to make arrangements for the permit , you will receive an e-mail after your registration, stating what information we need from you. You have to pay the costs of this permit yourself. Some companies may take these costs for their account, you can discuss this with the company your intern with.
Package B: Internship Supervision. Euro 200,-
Thanks to our in-house internship coördinator we can offer professional internship supervision during your internship. JobCare will help you to formulate your internship assignment and will assist you with writing your internship report. During your internship JobCare will visit you at your trainee spot and can help you whenever you are having difficulties with you internship, or when you have personal difficulties. Since you are far from home, JobCare´s Internship Supervision includes the service of being the contact person for your parents and educators at home. In case of an emergency we are available outside office hours.
Package C: Arranging Accomodation. Euro 55,-
If you let us arrange your accomodation we will be able to offer you accomodation at affordable student prices. Also we will make sure that we are able to hand you the key of your apartment, they day you arrive.
If you aren´t satisfied with your apartment we will assist you in finding another one.
Package D: Arranging Car Rental. Euro 55,-
Thanks to our extensive network we can offer long term car rental for affordable student prices. Your car will be available the day you arrive, and otherwise it will be brought to you the following day. If you are not satisfied with your vehicle we will assist you in finding an alternative.
Package E: Airport pick up + Groceries. Euro 75,-
Arrivals from Europe are usually late in the evening, you are tired and you suffer from a jet lag. JobCare will be at the airport to pick you up and bring you to your car, or your apartment. We will immediately hand you important information about Aruba and about your internship company. You will receive a sim card with 5 florins prepaid balance so you can inform the people back home that you have arrived safely. Since you (mostly) arrive late at night we have packed a bag with some groceries for you to start your first day on the island.
If you arrive with more interns at the same time, we will take you to the local ´intern´ bar to have a welcome drink!

Package G: Service Help Desk. Free
For questions and problems during your internship we are happy to help you during office hours. In case of an emergency, we are also available outside office hours.
